Customer Service Representative
Location: Baltic, CT
Pay Rate: $31.79–$33.33/hour | Full-Time

Make an Impact
Serve as the primary communication link between customers and internal departments while managing customer accounts throughout the entire order lifecycle. This role plays a key part in ensuring order accuracy, customer satisfaction, and seamless coordination from order entry through shipment and invoicing.
This position is trained on SQF principles and is required to follow them and report through the chain of command and the non-conformance program any issues of food safety that they may encounter or observe.
What You’ll Do
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication
• Communicate order status, lead times, delays, and issue resolution clearly and professionally
• Enter and manage customer orders accurately within ERP systems
• Verify order specifications, materials, quantities, artwork requirements, and delivery schedules
• Coordinate order changes, revisions, and expediting requests
• Collaborate with Sales, Prepress, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met
• Monitor job progress from preproduction through shipment
• Participate in commercialization and preproduction meetings as needed
• Ensure required approvals, proofs, and specifications are completed prior to release
• Address customer complaints, service concerns, and order discrepancies
• Initiate corrective action requests when necessary and follow issues through resolution
• Maintain accurate customer records, specifications, and communications
• Monitor customer inventory programs and communicate forecast changes to planning teams
Operations / Compliance
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and housekeeping policies
• Support SQF and food safety requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and customer records
• Assist with customer-specific documentation and compliance requests
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems and communications
Tools & Systems
• ERP systems (Radius, SAP, or similar)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Customer account and order management systems
What You Bring
• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2–5 years of customer service experience (manufacturing or packaging preferred)
• Experience using ERP systems such as Radius, SAP, or similar platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
• Understanding of manufacturing, packaging, or print production processes preferred
