Make an Impact
Assist the operator in running the laminator according to established standards while supporting the production of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and company goals.
This position is trained on SQF principles and is required to follow them and report through the chain of command and the non-conformance program any issues of food safety that they may encounter or observe.
What You’ll Do
• Assist the operator in setting up and operating the laminator
• Change unwind and rewind rolls to maintain production flow
• Assist in correcting errors or deviations from specifications
• Perform required quality checks to ensure all materials meet specifications
• Set up adhesive stations and ensure proper gaps and alignment
• Verify materials are correct and properly oriented for each job
• Center unwind shafts and assist with machine adjustments
• Read and operate treater setpoints and controls
• Assist with final product quality testing
• Read and understand job tickets and production requirements
• Operate the machine during operator breaks as needed
• Perform downtime activities within expected timeframes
• Assist in changeovers efficiently within standard time
• Help reduce waste and downtime through efficient operation
• Change impression and coating rollers as needed
• Assist with adhesive unit changes (solvent to solventless)
• Support minor repairs and assist maintenance with mechanical issues
Operations / Compliance
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and housekeeping policies
• Safely energize and de-energize equipment
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste per plant procedures and RCRA requirements
• Properly label and manage waste containers with accurate hazard information
• Identify and communicate waste streams generated during production
• Maintain clean and compliant accumulation areas and report issues immediately
• Follow all SQF and GMP guidelines to keep the plant “customer ready”
Tools & Systems
• Laminator equipment and production systems
What You Bring
• Mechanically inclined with understanding of machine components
• Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
• Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to learn materials, testing methods, and operating processes
• Understanding of safety data sheets and hazardous materials handling

Schedule & Work Environment
• Must be able to work weekends and possible evening and night shift
• Overtime may be required
