Make an Impact
Support press operations by assisting operators in producing high-quality product while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
This position is trained on SQF principles and is required to follow them and report through the chain of command and the non-conformance program any issues of food safety that they may encounter or observe.
What You’ll Do
• Assist operators with press setup, operation, and cleanup
• Support webbing up the press and general press operation tasks
• Assist with cleaning equipment and maintaining press performance
• Help with ink changeovers, lacquer OPV changeovers, and related tasks
• Prepare and stage inks, ensuring proper pH and viscosity
• Mix and blend inks to match required formulas and color standards
• Coordinate ink usage and maintain proper inventory levels
• Load unwind rolls, prepare splices, and ensure correct material orientation
• Stage cores and materials in rewind areas
• Fill out chemical usage and viscosity logs accurately
• Clean plates, remove waste, and maintain general housekeeping
• Rebuild and prepare doctor blade chambers for production
• Assist with hazardous waste handling and proper labeling procedures
• Maintain clean and compliant work and accumulation areas
Operations / Compliance
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and housekeeping policies
• Assist in safe operation of press equipment and ensure proper guarding
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste per plant procedures and RCRA requirements
• Properly label and manage waste containers with accurate hazard information
• Follow all SQF and GMP guidelines to keep the plant “customer ready”
Tools & Systems
• Flexo press equipment and related production systems
• Ink mixing and measurement tools
What You Bring
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
• Good color perception
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and hazardous materials

Schedule & Work Environment
• Must be able to work weekends and possible evening and night shift
• Overtime may be required
