Make an Impact
Assist the operator in running the pouch machine according to established standards while supporting the production of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and company goals.
This position is trained on SQF principles and is required to follow them and report through the chain of command and the non-conformance program any issues of food safety that they may encounter or observe.
What You’ll Do
• Read and understand job tickets and specification sheets
• Assist with machine operation and changeovers to minimize waste
• Perform quality checks on finished products to meet standards
• Record measurements and quality data as required
• Notify operator or management of material or mechanical issues
• Assist with handling and proper disposal of materials, including hazardous waste
• Support proper labeling and segregation of waste containers
• Maintain clean and compliant work and accumulation areas
• Perform general housekeeping and miscellaneous tasks as needed
Operations / Compliance
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, and housekeeping policies
• Ensure proper guarding and safe operation of equipment throughout shift
• Handle and dispose of materials per plant procedures and RCRA requirements
• Properly label and manage waste containers with accurate hazard information
• Follow all SQF and GMP guidelines to keep the plant “customer ready”
Tools & Systems
• Pouching machine and related production equipment
What You Bring
• Ability to read a ruler (standard and metric)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and hazardous materials

Schedule & Work Environment
• Must be able to work weekends and possible evening and night shift
