AMGRAPH’s own Ken Fontaine will continue to serve in this important leadership role

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has announced the election of its 2021 Board of Directors. Kathy Bolhous, CEO of Charter Next Generation, is the new chairperson, succeeding Curt Begle, president of the health, hygiene, and specialties division of Berry Global, who served as chairperson of the FPA Board of Directors from March 2019 – March 2021.

AMGRAPH’s CEO, Ken Fontaine, will continue to serve on this vital industry advisory board in the coming year.

The 2021 board members were elected by FPA voting members for a one-year term, with the exception of the chairperson’s two-year term. They assumed their directorship on March 10 during the virtual board of directors meeting. The 2021 Board is comprised of industry leaders from 37 flexible packaging companies.

The Flexible Packaging Association served a critical leadership role throughout the COVID-19 crisis. One of the biggest achievements was having packaging deemed an “essential” job function. The FPA issued letters to the White House, all Governors, and leaders on Capitol Hill to emphasize that packagers support critical industries like food and medical supplies, and they asked for clarity with respect to federal, state, and local government proclamations that named essential business operations. In the coming year, the organization will focus on post-pandemic industry recovery.

Like all FPA members, we at AMGRAPH are committed to advancing the interests of both packaging providers and the customers we serve. We’re proud of that our CEO has once again been recognized for his experience and leadership.
